Fees on equity release loans waived by Just Retirement
Just Retirement has announced that it will no longer charge up front fees on its equity release loans.
The move will see all set-up and valuation fees waived from today, with the deal on offer until December 31st.
This is set to save applicants an average of £700, the company claims, while also making equity release more accessible.
David Cooper, marketing director at Just Retirement, said: "We know consumers are feeling the pinch enough at present, so we hope this gesture will help those looking to reduce outgoings and boost income in retirement.
"This is especially true when you combine this with the flexibility offered by Just Retirement's drawdown product, which means individuals only pay interest on the amount they draw down and not on the overall agreed amount."
Rates on the company's range of equity release products start at 6.29 per cent, which it claims are among the best on the market.
